I really cannot say enough just how much I love what I do. I have met the most amazing families that I never would have met otherwise. They welcome me into their homes and lives with open arms and more times than not I feel like I’ve formed a true friendship after only spending an hour or two with them. Two days after Thanksgiving and 4 days after his 1st Birthday I met Finn, as well has his parents and both sets of grandparents. In an effort to catch up on some blogging….I met these handsome little guys and their parents back in July, right before Independence Day! These sweet Super Heroes and their parents were here visiting their roots and their family and friends, so it was a perfect opportunity to sneak a family session in!
Adalynn | Miss Tara Nichole Photography | 1 year
I first met Miss Adalynn when she was days old, all teeny tiny and sleepy. She and her neighbor were my first sessions back from my own maternity leave and I remember even though they are only 3 weeks younger than my now 1 year old, that she seemed SO tiny. Most of us know just how fast they grow in those first days! I’ve been so fortunate to be able to watch Addy grow in her first year from teeny, to sitting and now walking. She won the title of Little Miss Tara Nichole Photography this past spring and couldn’t be more perfect! Happy {almost} Birthday Adalynn!
Lemonade Stand Mini Sessions
These were so much fun! I definitely plan on doing them again next year and adding a few more things to it. I kind of planned it on the spur of the moment and the slots went fast so next time I’ll make sure there are more slots available! It ended up being a beautiful summer evening with lots of giggles!

This day started in the 80’s and was perfectly sunny with a blue sky and fluffy white clouds, until we were about 10 miles from our location. It dropped to the 50’s in that 10 or so minutes, but these girls were troopers!
The Lavender Farm With the {S} Family
Lavender Hill Farm, here in Northern MI is like this hidden little gem in the summer. It is so gorgeous and smells so heavenly. I met this lovely little family there this summer while they were here visiting family.
